With over 19 years of professional grooming experience, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and heart to the Pawlish Up team. Her passion for animals began in childhood and quickly evolved into a lifelong calling, leading her to pursue formal grooming training through PetSmart, where she excelled as a senior groomer and became known as a specialist in working with difficult or anxious dogs.

After seven years in a busy corporate grooming environment, Katie shifted her focus to creating a calmer, more individualized experience for pets. This transition led her to a holistic pet store in Colorado Springs, where she spent several years deepening her expertise in gentle, low-stress grooming practices. She later continued her grooming career in the mountains, building a loyal clientele who valued her patience, compassion, and commitment to canine comfort.

Four years ago, Katie made Lake Conroe her home, bringing her seasoned skill set to Texas.

Katie is especially recognized for her ability to work with seniors, anxious pups, and dogs who require extra time, understanding, and thoughtful handling. Her calm approach, attention to detail, and genuine love for dogs shine through in every grooming session.
